Paul is a medical doctor with specialization in Medical Microbiology and a fellowship in Infectious diseases focusing on hospital acquired infections.

He has vast experience in Health systems strengthening and clinical and basic science research. He has contributed to implementation and systems strengthening in areas of antimicrobial resistance surveillance, Infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship at national and health care facility levels.

He is tasked to provide technical oversight and supervision of all CDC IPC funded projects, ensuring that their IPC activities are harmonized, compliment each other and are in line with CDC and MOH priorities.
